Why should I choose RG Nutrition and Wellness?

At RG Nutrition and Wellness, we create a personalized approach to fit each client’s unique needs and goals. Our achievable wellness strategies take a more holistic approach, emphasizing your strengths and opportunities as the way to overcome challenges. We integrate all aspects of health and wellness to provide our clients with well-rounded coaching.

Our office hours are set with our clients in mind. Life is hectic. From work and school to sports and errands, you’re running full steam all day long. Our flexible hours provide us with the opportunity to accommodate our clients at their convenience.When you work with us, you have a dedicated partner to face the daunting prospect of change together.

How many times will I need to meet with a nutritionist?

If you are fed up with quick fixes, have decided that your health is your most precious asset and are ready to invest for the long-term, then Nutrition and Wellness Coaching is for you.

Committing to more than 2 visits allows for a more intensive, personalized, and holistic approach which leads to results.

During the coaching journey we will work together to connect the dots between who you are, who you want to be, and how to take incremental steps toward your desired changes.  We recommend meeting every week or every two weeks at the start to build confidence and change, then our appointments will spread out to allow for long term success in achieving your goals.

Getting to your goal may take longer than anticipated. It took years to develop your current eating and life style, so be prepared to set up a long term plan for success.

Will my visit be covered by insurance? How do I pay for the appointment?

Insurance Coverage: RG Nutrition takes Blue Cross Blue Shield and Tufts health insurance of Massachusetts.  RG Nutrition is also enrolled in most Aetna plans.  If you are interested in seeing if your BCBS, Tufts, or Aetna plan covers nutrition, contact us {Rachel@RGNandW.com} for more information.

If you have a different insurance and would like to inquire about coverage, we will work with your insurance to see if they will cover out-of-network nutrition visits.

Co-Pay and Out-of-Pocket Payment Preference: Payment in full is required at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover. We do prefer payment by check whenever possible.

If there is any difficulty making the payment at the time of the visit, please discuss this with Rachel Gargano ahead of time. Should you need a refund, please note that all credit card payments are subject to a 15% non-refundable processing fee.

It is the client’s responsibility to provide payment in full at the time of the service and then request reimbursement from the insurance company.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that unexpected event may occur making it difficult for you to keep your scheduled appointment.  If you need to cancel, please call 24 hours prior to the session and we will be more than happy to reschedule you.  Payment will still be required if you cancel on shorter notice than 24 hours.  Thank you for your understanding.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

I’m excited to work with you! Before your initial appointment, there is some information I’d like you to put together that will help me with your first coaching session.  All of these documents will be emailed to you prior to our first session.

1. HIPAA Document: Prior to your first session, you must review and sign a document that acknowledges you have read and agreed to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This Act from 1996 was passed by the United States Congress in order to protect an individual’s privacy and confidential records.  RG Nutrition and Wellness will provide both the HIPAA Privacy Notice and the Acknowledgement via email prior to your first session, and you can sign the acknowledgement indicating you understand that everything we discuss will remain confidentional.   Please bring the acknowledgement with you then bring the acknowledgement with you to our first session.

2. Health and Wellness Initial Assessment – Please fill out this document so that we may have a better understanding of your medical, physical, and emotional history as well as your goals and desires for our appointment together.  Email back prior to your initial assessment if possible.
