Baked Teriyaki Tofu

by ADMIN on JULY 12, 2011

Quick ‘n’ easy is a good way to describe this meal. With a crisp outside and tender inside, these tofu cubes are a fun and delicious way to include protein in your meal. And with just 3 ingredients, how can you go wrong!

We had ours with crisp oven-baked asparagus with breadcrumbs. Also quick ‘n’ easy – so check out that recipe too!

Baked Teriyaki Tofu

Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 25 mins Total time: 30 mins Serves: 2

Quick, easy, delectable. A winning combination if you ask me!

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm tofu, gently squeezed dry between paper towels and cut into 1" cubes

  • ¼ cup teriyaki sauce

  • ¼ cup other flavored marinade (I used Soy Ginger, but any other will work!)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F and spray a baking sheet with spray olive oil.

  2. Mix teriyaki sauce and other marinade in a small bowl. Dip tofu cubes in the sauce, coating each side with a thin layer.

  3. Place on the baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crisp.

Enjoy!
