Turkey burgers get a bad wrap – they can be dry and tasteless. But using a packet of dry onion soup as seasoning plus cheddar cubes mixed in brings out the best in these burgers!
Did you know: Ground chicken sounds healthier than ground beef, but in reality it can have more saturated fat. This is because the skin is also ground in, boosting the calories and fat content. Go for lean ground beef or lean ground turkey for healthy options!

To spice up your turkey burgers, look to packets of dry soup! This recipe combines dry onion soup, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce for a winning combination.
Ingredients
1.5 pounds lean ground turkey
1 packet dry onion soup (such as Liptons)
4 0z cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes or shredded
1 tsp garlic powder
1.5 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
½ tsp ground pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
Mix toghether turkey, soup mix, garlic, worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, cheese, and spices.
Form into 6 large or 8 medium sized patties.
Heat grill to medium-high. Cook burger for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, depending on your desired done-ness.
Enjoy with some grilled corn on the cob!
