Sliced Parmesan Tomatoesby

Caprese salads are always delicious, but we don’t always have time to pick up fresh mozzerella or basil. This recipes is great for when you want something ‘special’ with dinner, but neglected to pick up those special ingredients! Sliced Parmesan Tomatoes Prep time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins Serves: 4 Sliced ripe tomatoes, fresh grated parmesan, a sprinkle of dried basil, and a drizzle of olive oil is all you need for a cool, refreshing side dish.


  • 4-5 tomatoes, sliced into rounds

  • 3 Tbsp fresh grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp ground sea salt

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 3 tsp dried basil


  1. Place sliced tomatoes on a serving platter.

  2. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt, parmesan cheese, and basil.

  3. Enjoy!
