Ah falafel. Delicous. Moist.
A wonderful alternative to the burger.
These fluffy chickpea patties taste great with crispy Roasted Kale and a homemade potato bun (recipe coming soon!).
Oh – and the Yogurt Sauce with lemon and honey.
Which I just so happened to finish straight from the bowl. Using my finger as a utensil.
It was a good dinner

¼ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
2 tsp olive oil
1.5 tsp cumin
½ tsp baking powder

Instructions
In a food processor, blend together all ingredients for the patties.
Shape chick pea mixture into 6-8 patties (depending on how big you make them).
Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large saute pan. Cook patties until they are golden, about 4-5 minutes each side.
In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon, garlic, and honey. Whisk.
Serve on a bun (or not!) with the sauce (also optional!) and some veggies!
